Structures and Shapes _ Interview with Ontal

“Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable” Cesar A. Cruz. Would you agree?

Darko: Yes, that’s right

and why?

Boris: Hmm, the disturbed are more honest than the comfortable. Well, I’d link the disturbed to the underground and the comfortable to the other side. The way we see it, the comfortable are the trendy ones who rise up fast, enjoy the fame for a short time and disappear. The disturbed are the ones who leave a significant trace and who endlessly inspire others.

Nicely put. If you were to name the records that have inspired you the most, what would they be?

Darko: This is a difficult question, there are many records that have inspired us

It is indeed, maybe the first few that come to mind…

Boris: The next time when we read this interview, we’ll probably think of records that have inspired us more.

Darko: This is one of my first vinyls “Cursor Miner – Carnivore”

Boris: Boymerang – Still (Dom & Optical VIP) – Prototype Recordings

Hi I’m Rachael and I love exploring different thought processes and ranges of emotion through the medium of music. Music has caused me to find people of similar mindsets and build beautiful friendships. There is nothing more enjoyable than dancing and feeling the frequencies flow through your body while getting lost in a cacophony of sound, which drenches the senses so soothingly. I also really enjoy reading, ranting and researching. https://www.facebook.com/Rachbehere http://soundcloud.com/rachbehere
